Ecological picnic for children and youth in Ecological Services and Presentations Centre.

In 19th and 23rd June 2015 days, all together around 150 person group of students from Gronowo Elblaskie region schools, accompanied by their directors and teachers, participated in ecological picnic organized in Ecological Services and Presentation Centre in Jasionno. Initiator and organizer of the meeting was FU-WI company from Elblag, beneficiary of the realized project “Demonstration installation of thermal utilization of sewage sludge by pyrolysis”, cofinanced by LIFE+ and “NFOŚiGW”.

Meeting program included short multimedia presentation regarding the project. All guests received informational gifts and treat. Next point was to familiarize all invited with the installation – company representative explained what is so innovative in this technology, why it is environmental friendly, safe, and also pointed the profitability and economy of this specific project.

In the second part of the meeting, all students actively participated in demonstration of waste segregation, guided by representatives of MPO company from Elblag.

Last, most important part of the picnic, was the summary of the eco-themed contest, organized by FU-WI company: best poster and slogan. Winners were selected within voting, and first 3 places were prized with electronic devices founded by FU-WI company.

Whole event turned out to be great fun to children. FU-WI company, as well as schools representatives count on further cooperation and possibility of whole classes visits in Ecological Services and Presentations Centre for ecological lessons.
